Apple TV has revealed a lineup of its original films and series that star Dayo Okeniyi, Teyonah Parris and Danai Gurira.
From “Matchbox The Movie,” which stars John Cena, Jessica Biel, Teyonah Parris, Danai Gurira, to Dayo Okeniyi’s “Dark Matter,” fans will be able to attend a special sneak preview screenings and panels with cast members at San Diego Comic-Con International.
“Matchbox The Movie” which is inspired by the iconic Mattel toys is about a group of friends who have their lives upended when undercover CIA agent Sean (John Cena), their long-absent former leader, returns to their small town and unwittingly gets them embroiled in a frantic international pursuit to save the world.
Josh Horowitz will moderate conversations with the casts and filmmakers of “Matchbox The Movie” which is directed and executive produced by Sam Hargrave and premieres on Apple TV on October 9.

Hailed as one of the best sci-fi novels and celebrating the 10th anniversary of its release this year, “Dark Matter” is a story about the road not taken. In season one, the series followed Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton), a physicist, professor and family man who — one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago — is abducted into an alternate version of his life.
Season one of “Dark Matter” is available to watch now on Apple TV. Season two will launch Friday, August 28 with one episode and a new episode weekly through Friday, October 30.
Fans will also be able to attend a special sneak preview screening of the first episode of the new season of “Dark Matter,” and attend a panel with Nigerian actor Dayo Okeniyi, along with cast members Blake Crouch, Matt Tolmach, Jacquelyn Ben-Zekry, Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly.
Okeniyi ‘s film credits include “Emperor”, “The Hunger Games,” “Terminator: Genisys,” “Endless Love” and “Runner Runner,” opposite Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake andn the crime drama “Shades of Blue” opposite Jennifer Lopez.
San Diego Comic-Con International is set to take place from Thursday, July 23, through Sunday, July 26.
