The popular cartoon series about animated dogs is back on the big screen this summer and this time they are tackling global warming.
New images have been released from the Nickelodeon series which revolves around a young boy called Ryder who leads a crew of dogs that call themselves the Paw Patrol.
Featuring a firefighting Dalmatian, a bulldog construction worker and a German shepherd called Chase, they work together on missions to protect the shoreside community of Adventure City.
The squad of heroic canines are equipped with backpacks called “pup packs and each dog has a specific set of skills and customized vehicles for their missions.

In the upcoming film, “Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie” the pups crash land on an uncharted tropical island filled with dinosaurs after their ship gets caught in a mysterious storm. Its there they meet Rex, a pup who has been stranded on the island for years and has become an expert in all things dino-related. When their archrival, Mayor Humdinger, begins recklessly mining in hopes of exploiting the island for its natural resources, he inadvertently causes a huge, dormant volcano to erupt. It becomes a mission for the pups to stop Humdinger before everything on the island becomes extinct.
Directed by Cal Brunker, the voice cast includes Carter Young, Mckenna Grace, Terry Crews, Meredith MacNeill, Ron Pardo, Jennifer Hudson, Hayden Chemberlen, Fortune Feimster, Jameela Jamil, Rain Janjua, Bill Nye, Paris Hilton, Lucien Duncan-Reid, William Desrosiers, Nylan Parthipan, and Henry Bolan.
Featuring music from the The Backstreet Boys who are contributing a brand-new single titled “Bottle Up” the film officially hits theaters on August 14.
