Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays a young Black FBI agent who is sent to Mississippi to investigate a wave of brutal killings targeting civil rights leaders and Mark Wahlberg is a mafia hitman who partners with him to hunt the killers.
Directed by Elegance Bratton and written by Sascha Penn, the film chronicles a wild, real-life alliance from the Civil Rights era as it follows an ambitious Abdul-Mateen II, as a Black FBI agent who must step outside standard protocols to solve a wave of brutal Ku Klux Klan killings targeting civil rights leaders in the 60s.

Abdul-Mateen II roles include projects across the DC Extended Universe, Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He recently received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy for the “Wonder Man” and is currently making major headlines following Disney’s abrupt decision to cancel the series, despite a previous Season 2 renewal.
