Snoop Dogg Composes Soundtrack For Horror Flick

Grammy-nominated artist Snoop Dogg has collaborated with director Eli Roth to craft a track for his latest drama.

Roth’s 10th movie follows an idyllic summer town descending into madness when a mysterious ice cream vendor serves demonic treats that turn the local children into homicidal maniacs.

“It’s my version of a Pied Piper tale. I’ve always wanted to make a movie like ‘The Birds,’ a full-on apocalypse. But with children,” says Roth, the director of “Hostel,” and “Cabin Fever.”

If the horror genre has taught us anything,it’s that an iconic villain needs an iconic prop. Freddy’s got a razor fingered glove, Jason has a hockey mask, Candy man has hook, but the the Ice Cream Man doesn’t just have a prop–he has one on wheels.

Once the Ice Cream Man having dished out his delectable wares to the children in the previously sleepy Bayleen Bay, they all turn hilariously feral, descending on their school with the sticky remnants of ice cream on their lips, and murder on their minds.

Snoop writes and performs “Ice Cream Song” an iconic song for the film which releases in theaters on August 7.
