Apple TV has released the trailer for the second season of “Sugar.”
The neo-noir detective drama starring and executive produced by Colin Farrell. “Sugar” will return for its eight-episode second season.

The private detective story follows an LA private detective and film connoisseur called John Sugar, played by Colin Farrell. The second season also introduces a brand new cast that includes Jin Ha, Raymond Lee, Tony Dalton, Laura Donnelly, Sasha Calle, along with special guest star Shea Whigham.
Season two of “Sugar” is show run by Sam Catlin, who also executive produces under his Short Drive Entertainment banner. Audrey Chon and Simon Kinberg also serve as executive producers alongside Farrell, Scott Greenberg and Chip Vucelich. “Sugar” is created by Mark Protosevich.
The classic Hollywood detective story has been hailed as “one of the best neo-noir thrillers in years” with “one of the greatest plot twists in recent TV history,” the complete first season of “Sugar” is now streaming globally on Apple TV.
The series will air on Friday, June 19 on Apple TV with one episode, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday through August 7.
