Fresh off his role as Robbie Robertson in Marvel’s series “Spider-Noir” actor Lamorne Morris is joining “Not Alone,”Illumination’s original new film.
The film follows an introverted rocket mechanic who lives a quiet life alone and also stars Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez.
“Not Alone” follows a pair who attempt to launch a rocket and aliens who feel the rocket could provide their means of getting back home to safety.
Morris won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his stellar performance as State Trooper Witt Farr in season 5 of the FX series “Fargo” and his film credits include “Game Night” and “Barbershop: The Next Cut.”
“Not Alone” is directed by Eric Guillon, the co-director of “Despicable Me 3.”
The film releases in theaters April 16 2027.
