The LGBTQ+ romance “A Year in London” is heading for the big screen.
“A Year in London” follows a fashion designer whose life drastically changes when she moves from a small Italian town to London to pursue a Master’s degree at a university. It becomes a life changing experience after she and her lecturer/mentor survive a violent robbery on the streets of London.
The shared trauma creates an emotional connection which evolves into a complex romance.
From award-winning director Flaminia Graziadei, the drama stars Elanie Liburd (“Bad Boys 4”), Nina Pons (“Baby”), Carlotta Morelli (Forever First Love, Karen Pirie) and Matteo Bassi (Chlorophyll).
The film was featured at the 41st Lovers Film Festival in Turin, Italy, with a special panel presentation on 19th April.
Shot across Basilicata, Rome and London, it will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 17th July.
