‘A Year in London’ Makes Its Screen Debut

The LGBTQ+ romance “A Year in London” is heading for the big screen.

“A Year in London” follows a fashion designer whose life drastically changes when she movies from a small Italian town to London for a year to pursue a Master’s degree at a prestigious fashion university. Her life changes completely after she and her lecturer/mentor survive a violent robbery on the streets of London.

The shared trauma creates an instant, deep emotional connection that quickly evolves into a complex romance.

From award-winning director Flaminia Graziadei, the drama stars Elanie Liburd (“Bad Boys 4”), Nina Pons (“Baby”), Carlotta Morelli (Forever First Love, Karen Pirie) and Matteo Bassi (Chlorophyll).

The film which explores passion, identity was featured at the 41st Lovers Film Festival in Turin, Italy, with a special panel presentation on 19th April.

Shot across Basilicata, Rome and London, the film will be released in UK & Irish cinemas from 17th July.
