A Conversation With British Actress Rosalind Eleazar

The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) recently caught up with actress Rosalind Eleazar, who stars in “Misty Green.”

In the Chris Rock directed film, Eleazar, who is known for her roles in the BBC One series “Howards End,” plays a fiercely talented actor-singer fighting for relevancy in Hollywood.

Eleazar, whose mother is British and father Ghanaian, is also known as the sharp-witted MI5 field agent Louisa Guy in Apple TV+ spy thriller “Slow Horses.”

“Misty Green,” which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival began its theatrical rollout on Oct. 9 and also features Daniel Kaluuya, Adam Driver, and Anna Kendrick.

Established in 2003, AAFCA is the premiere body of Black film critics in the world, actively reviewing film and television, with a particular emphasis on entertainment that includes the Black experience and storytellers from the African Diaspora.
