Storm Reid is adding singer to her skill set.
The actress known for her work on screen is stepping into the music space with the single “Clean Sweep” via her independent music label 1720 Music.
“I have always had an affinity for music from an early age. This moment means many things, but the most important thing is that I made an active decision to chase my wildest dreams. The process of making this song allowed me to break from expectations of what I thought people would want from me. I’m excited to continue to concentrate on making the best music I can and having fun doing it,” say Reid who earned an Emmy award for “Outstanding Guest Actress In A Drama Series” for her work as Riley in the series “The Last of Us.”
At 13 years old, Reid made her screen debut as the brilliant and resilient protagonist in Disney’s 2018 film adaptation of “A Wrinkle in Time.”
Directed by Ava DuVernay, the movie followed a young teenager who journeys across space and time to rescue her missing scientist father
Other screen credits include the Netflix comedy “Roommate.” She will also star in Teyana Taylor’s directorial debut “Get Lite” which releases next year.
