‘It’s So Nice To Be Part Of The Minions,’ says Phil LaMarr

The cast and crew “Minions & Monsters” were on the red carpet the Los Angeles premiere to celebrate the release of animated film.

More than ten years after their creation, the Minions have become the most iconic animated characters of their generation and “Minions & Monsters” tells the story of how they unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try and save the planet from the mayhem they had just created.

The voice cast that includes Allison Janney, Christoph Waltz, Jeff Bridges, Jesse Eisenberg, Zoey Deutch, Trey Parker and Phil LaMarr were in attendance at the premiere, held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

“It’s so nice to be part of the Minions. It has been such a great universe for a long time,” said Phil LaMarr, who has voiced several animated characters and lends his voice to the character Howard, a monster who is accidentally freed by the character Goomi.

“Minions & Monsters” is directed by Pierre Coffin, a director of the first three Despicable Me films and the first Minions film.

The film releases in theaters July 1.
