After the diagnosis, her path intersects with women of different ages and cultural backgrounds – all fighting to take control of their own destinies and she finds herself on a deeply personal journey of self-discovery that forces her to confront the choices shaping her life .
In the film, Anei plays a young, inexperienced model from Africa navigating the overwhelming fashion world.
Anei, who hails from South Sudan, was handpicked by director Alice Winocour during a Chanel couture show to star in the film and before her modeling career took off, she secured a full scholarship to study at the United States International University Africa in Kenya.
She actively uses her global platform to advocate for leadership, education, and representation for young African girls.
