The cast of “Shrinking” visited Sesame Street’s NYC studio to film six original specialty segments alongside the iconic Sesame Street characters. Jason Segel, Brett Goldstein, Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams, Christa Miller, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley taped with beloved Muppets including Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Grover, Abby Cadabby, and Oscar the Grouch. Sherry Cola also joined for cast photos.
The segments explore “Shrinking” inspired topics such as asking for forgiveness, being brave, and what it’s like to be a good friend.
“Friendship Bench”and the other five segments will run through mid-June.
While Sesame Street has previously collaborated with acclaimed actors including Andrew Garfield, Cynthia Erivo, Sterling K. Brown, Michael B. Jordan, and more, this marks the first time the organization shot with an entire ensemble cast.
The Apple TV series “Shrinking” follows a grieving therapist who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.
