Vivica A. Fox  tapped to host The Truth Awards

“Kill Bill” actress Vivica A. Fox will host the upcoming  Truth Awards.

The award-winning actress known for movies “Independence Day,” “and “Two Can Play That Game,” will host the black-tie affair that honors African-Americans whose personal and professional accomplishments have positively impacted the perception and image of the Black LGBTQ community.

Don Lemon, Jenifer Lewis, Carlos King, Flame Monroe, Durand Bernarr, Nneka Onuorah, and Dr. Keith Green will be honored at the gala which will be held on March 21, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Grammy Award winner Lalah Hathaway will perform and presenters include Emmy Award-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph (“Abbott Elementary”), Karine Jean-Pierre and Lisa Raye McCoy.

Previous honorees include “Cosby Show” actress Raven-Symone, TV Judge, Judge Greg Mathis, Social media personality Tabitha Brown and Hampton’s Byron Perkins, the first openly gay HBCU football player who received the  Courage Award in 2023.
