Tom Cruise is set to reprise his role as Cole Trickle in a “Days of Thunder” sequel scheduled for release by Paramount Pictures on June 2, 2028.
Cruise will star and produce alongside Jerry Bruckheimer and Tommy Harper and will be joined by Anne Hathaway who is set to play a team owner and engineer.
A three-time Oscar nominee, his films have earned over $13 billion in worldwide box-office. From “Risky Business,” “Jerry Maguire” to the “Mission: Impossible” series, he continues to push cinematic boundaries and can be seen in
“Digger” from Alejandro G. Iñárritu.
Jonathan Levine will direct the sequel from a script by Will Staples.
