“It’s a hard process, making a movie at this scale,” says director Daniel Chong. “So, to have everyone be able to enjoy each other’s company, and have a mission statement specific to the production, was huge. If the team is having a good time, if they’re laughing and the meetings are enjoyable and we love each other’s company, it shows up on the screen. That was one of the key parts of
making the movie–that everyone had fun making it. I hope they did. I know I did.”

The film whiched opened in theaters friday is number 1 in the box office.
