Prime Video hosted the New York premiere of “Scarpetta,” their forensic crime thriller.
Held at Regal Union Square, in attendance were Executive Producer/Stars Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis; Stars Ariana DeBose, Bobby Cannavale, Simon Baker, Rosy McEwen, Jake Cannavale, and Hunter Parrish; Showrunner/Executive Producer Liz Sarnoff; and Executive Producer/Author Patricia Cornwell. Additional notable guests included Amazon MGM Studios Head of Global TV Peter Friedlander, Executive Producers Jason Blum and Per Saari, CROSS Star Aldis Hodge and Producer Ben Watkins and Late Night Host Seth Meyers.
An adaptation of Patricia Cornwell’s Kay novel, Nicole Kidman plays “Dr. Kay Scarpetta” an unrelenting medical examiner determined to serve as the voice of the victims, unmask a serial killer, and prove that her career-making case from 28 years prior isn’t also her undoing.
The TV series titled is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 11.
