The cast and creatives came together for a special finale event celebrating “Cape Fear” at the Directors Guild of America in New York.
The series which airs on Apple TV follows a convicted killer who seeks vengeance against the attorneys who put him behind bars after he is exonerated and released.
Attendees screened Episode 109 “The Scar” and Episode 110 “The Executioners,” of the tense psychological thriller miniseries and got an exclusive look at the conclusion of the show.
Following the screening, Executive Producers/Actors Amy Adams and Javier Bardem, Executive Producers Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg and Creator/Writer/Executive Producer Nick Antosca participated in a conversation discussing the explosive finale episodes and diving into adapting this story for a new audience.
Inspired by the 1991 remake directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg which also stars CCH Pounder.
Episodes 101-108 of “Cape Fear” are now streaming on Apple TV, with Episode 109 set to air July 24, followed by the finale episode on July 31.
