The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has announced the nominees for the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

The Daytime Emmy Awards have recognized outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts since 1974, honoring work in a variety of genres, including daytime dramas, talk series, entertainment news, culinary, adventure, instructional and legal/courtroom programming.
Nominees include daytime dramas “Beyond the Gates” talk shows, “Divorce Court,” “Mathis Court with Judge Mathis” which will battle for the Outstanding Legal / Courtroom Series trophy.
Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host nominees include Tamron Hall, Jennifer Hudson and Sherri Shepherd for their respective Daytime Talk shows.
Also nominated is “Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross” which received a nomination for Outstanding Travel and Adventure Program.
The ceremony is set to take place on Friday, October 30 at the historic Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California.
