The film follows twin sisters, Racine and Anaia, who embark on a quest for “righteous revenge” after tasked by their bedridden mother to track down and kill their abusive father.
Aleshea Harris makes her directorial debut in the film which stars Mykelti Williamson, Janelle Monáe, Vivica A. Fox and Emmy-nominated actor Sterling K Brown.
It is based on an adaptation of her award-winning play of the same name.
