32nd Critics Choice Awards To Take Pace January 3

The largest critics organization in the United States and Canada, the Critics Choice Association (CCA), has announced a date for their annual awards.

The 32nd annual Critics Choice Awards will take place at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Sunday, January 3, 2027.

An organization which represents almost 600 media critics and entertainment journalists, the annual awards show honor the best in cinematic and television achievement.

The star-studded show will continue its combined film and television awards format, honoring the best in cinematic, televised, and streaming achievement.

Returning to E! for the third year in a row, the telecast will also air live on both coasts across USA Network, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. ET / 4:00-7:00 p.m. PT. Notably, the Critics Choice Association and E! have signed a two-year renewal deal for the show, continuing through 2028.

Nominations for the annual event will be announced on Friday, December 4, 2026.

The 32nd annual Critics Choice Awards show will be executive-produced by Bob Bain Productions and Berlin Entertainment.

Historically, they are the most accurate predictor of Academy Award nominations.

The Paul Thomas Anderson directed drama “One Battle After Another,” which received Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay at 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards on January 4 went on to snag six Oscars at the 98th Academy Awards held on March 15, 2026.
