Written and directed by J. Pinder, the film a 21-year-old momma’s boy who gets an opportunity to turn his internship into a full-time assistant position. But after the antics of his drug dealer friend lead him down a path of chaotic situations, including a standoff with a world-famous rapper, his fortitude, character, and grit are pushed to the limits in this coming-of-age comedy.
The film stars newcomer Nick Darnell, comedian Morgan Jay (“St. Dennis Medical”), R. Marcus Taylor (“Straight Outta Compton”), JadaPaige (“Bel-Air”), Jack Stone (“Teenage Wasteland) Ben Scattone (Blue Murder), and Mildred Langford (Bosch), along with a supporting cast that includes Txunamy Ortiz, Ayden Mekus, Neela Jolene, Jeremiah Watkins, Chip tha Ripper, and Nikki Howard.
“Cotton Candy Bubble Gum” which premiered at SXSW 2025 also won Best Comedy at the Hollywood Film Festival.
The film will premiere May 12 for digital purchase and rental on all major platforms from Radial Entertainment.
