Billboard named him the “inaugural Caribbean Rookie of the Month” and it’s a moniker Armanii aptly deserves.
With a soulful sound infused with dancehall, the Kingston native who received the Dancehall Impact Award at the 2025 Caribbean Music Awards has a distinctive style.
For Armanii, who is featured on the cover of Deeds Magazine ahead of “The Impact” Deluxe Release, R&B inspires his musical style.
“I listen to the Summer Walkers, the Giveons, the Drakes, the SZAs… that sound gravitates towards me more. You can hear it whether it’s a sample or a beat it just has that R&B feel to it,” he told the publication.
Breakout tracks “Pounds” and “Hadd (Fiesta)”have solidified this young artist’s place as one of the Caribbean’s exciting new voices.
With his sophisticated blend of Jamaican dancehall and R&B, Armanii is steadily carving out a presence in the global music scene.
The deluxe version of his debut album “The Impact” is set to premiere Friday. and introduces four new tracks: “New Tingz ,” “Tonight”, “X Rated, ” and “Tun Up.”
