Peacock has released images and announced the premiere date of their new series.
“The Five Star Weekend” stars Jennifer Garner, D’Arcy Carden, Gemma Chan, Chloë Sevigny, Harlow Jane, and Timothy Olyphant and Regina Hall.
It follows a cook and best selling author who suffers a devastating loss which impacts her picture-perfect life.
In an effort to overcome grief and find herself again, she gets the idea to host a weekend away at her house on Nantucket with three friends from different stages in her life: her childhood, her twenties, thirties, and one surprise fifth star.
Additional cast members include Rob Huebel, David Denman, Josh Hamilton, West Duchovny, Judy Greer, Tory Devon Smith, Morrison Keddie and Roberta Colindrez .
Hall is one of Hollywood’s most sought after comedic actresses who has starred in several memorable movies that include “The Best Man Holiday,” “Girl’s Trip,” “Naked,” “When the Bough Break,”“The Hate U Give,” “Barbershop 3,” and the Academy Award winning film “One Battle After Another.”
Created by the eight episode drama will airs Thursday, July 16 only on the streaming service Peacock.
