A space adventure A middleschool science teacher wakes up in space with amensia and has to figure out why the sun dying out. That’s the premise of Ryan Gosling latest movie which is based on a science fiction novel by Andy Weir. =
Directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller (“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” ”The Lego Movie:), the filmbegins with a crisis: Earth’s sun is dimming and humanity is running out of time. We meet Ryland Grace (Gosling), a man alone in deep space, with no memories of what brought him there. A his memories return and he uses his science and problem-solving to complete an impossible mission, which includes an unexpected alien ally called Rocky, who is also on a mission to save their world.

“It’s such an epic journey and Ryland Grace is not stoic in any way. He’s not brave in any traditional sense and he doesn’t have any illusions about being a hero. But he keeps trying,” adds Gosling who doubled as co-producer and knew instantly that he wanted to be a part of bringing that idea to the screen.
A space adventure, disaster movie, “Project ‘Hail Mary’ is about two disparate individuals from either ends of the galaxy, and through science, teaching, empathy and compassion work together to save the universe.
