Leah Kateb hosts LA Epilepsy awareness walk

Hosted by Leah Kateb and Audrey Kaller, more than 4,000 Angelenos are expected to gather this weekend at the Rose Bowl Stadium for the largest epilepsy awareness event in the world.

Epilepsy affects nearly 450,000 people in California, including more than 160,000 in Los Angeles County. Despite being the fourth most common neurological disorder in the United States, it remains significantly underfunded, making awareness and community action more important than ever.

The Walk plans to bring together families, advocates, leading epileptologists from Level 4 Epilepsy Centers for the event.

Kateb  was featured in Season 6 of “Love Island USA” and uses her platform to raise awareness around epilepsy.  Kaller  is a Los Angeles-based epilepsy advocate and Co-Chair of Epilepsy Walk LA who has helped raise more than $750,000 for epilepsy research, education, and support programs.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in Pasedena, Calif.
