Tracy Morgan delivers humor in new sitcom

Known for his energetic and often surreal humor, Tracy Morgan, a former cast member on the NBC sketch comedy television series Saturday Night Live is back has a new comedy.

Titled “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins,” it recently premiered on NBC and follows Morgan as a former star running back for the New York Jets whose career ended twenty years prior due to a massive gambling scandal. To rehabilitate his image and secure a spot in the Hall of Fame, Reggie hires Arthur Tobin (Daniel Radcliffe), an Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker who is facing his own career collapse after a viral on-set meltdown.

Morgan co-starred alongside Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin on seven seasons of NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning comedy “30 Rock,” and received an Emmy nomination and multiple NAACP Image Award in the TV supporting actor category.

He currently stars in the upcoming half-hour comedy series “Crutch,” which centers on a Harlem widower whose empty nest plans are put on hold after his millennial son and free-spirited daughter move back home.
